Remote Sessions

Remote sessions take place over long-distance, where the therapist and client connect in the universal field of energy or consciousness that we all share and which crosses barriers of time and space. This connection is held in sacredness and compassion.

Remote sessions are opened to established clients only.

Remote healing sessions are long distance sessions. They are typically done over the phone, but can also be done by video via Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp.

Several years ago, when I first became a Reiki practitioner, I did some long-distance sessions. At that time, I decided not to pursue them and focus more on the Myofascial and Craniosacral in-person work. With the COVID-19 crisis, remote work became a feasible and helpful alternative to explore again. My current remote sessions do include some of the Reiki techniques but are mostly based on my Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy skills, and of course, intuitive abilities.

I connect with your energy field and the fluidity of your mind-body, in quantum ways that I myself do not fully comprehend… but it works! I can feel not only into your energy field, but your fluid body and physical tissue. Just like in-person work, we tap into the power of intention and healing takes place in a container of sacredness and compassion.  As in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy sessions I allow the intelligence of your mind-body to direct the flow of the session.

While in-person sessions can be done in complete silence, verbal communication is more essential during remote sessions. I will be checking in with you periodically to see how you are doing.

The Remote Session

In long-distance sessions it is important that you find a quiet place where you will be comfortable and without interruptions for the length of the session. Most clients prefer to lie down on a massage table, bed, yoga mat, or couch, but you can also sit comfortably in a chair if you prefer. I ask that you use the restroom, find someone to take care of the children and pets, and pick a quiet place where you will not be interrupted while in session.

I typically work at a massage table just like I would for an in-person session. I will call you at our appointed time, and do a health intake of what is happening for you that day, before we start the session.

If you are unable to come to an in-person session and have never experienced remote healing sessions, I highly recommend you try, even if you are skeptical! The best way to know how a remote session works is to experience it. The minimum benefit you get is a reset of your nervous system, which then allows deeper healing to take place.

"I have received several sessions from Helena, both in person and distance. She is incredible with both styles, but if possible I think she is even more amazing with distance work. How it works, I don’t know, but I feel the session in real time, I even feel her hands placed on my body as she guides me through the various holds, and feel her presence very strongly next to me. And, in distance work, Helena has naturally and seamlessly integrated her myofascial expertise with her craniosacral training, making something that almost feels like a new modality, that suits her hands and talents perfectly. I have been able to accomplish and heal and clear so much in these distance sessions with Helena, relying not only on this fascial and craniosacral combination but also on her grace, compassion, and stillness in dealing with areas of significant trauma or illness. She’s wonderful. "
